THE DEAD SOUTH ANNOUNCE MUSIC VENUE BINGO FUNDRAISER FOR LIVE MUSIC RELIEF CAMPAIGNS
The Dead South announce Served Live Venue Bingo, a creative fundraiser that shines the light on venues around the world to promote and support the work being done to stabilize the live music industry during the pandemic - and beyond - by three organizations: NIVA (#SaveOurStages, USA), Music Venue Trust (#SaveOurVenues, UK) and CIVC (#SupportCanadianVenues, Canada).

The Dead South always planned to document the Served Cold World Tour, which would take the band from their hometown of Regina, Saskatchewan through 200 shows in over 20 countries. Now, with show postponements into 2022, the band offers fans a snapshot of their lauded live show with Served Live, a double live album and complete set list collection recorded at venues across North America, UK and Ireland in 2019-2020.

The Dead South celebrated their second JUNO Award win for Traditional Roots Album of the Year last night, announced in a virtual awards show that also featured the bluegrass quartet performing at an empty venue in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, the intended host city. As displayed on the marquee at the start of the clip (JUNOS 2020 CANCELLED), this year’s event took a much different form.
