ARE YOU BEING SERVED LIVE?
NEW DOUBLE LIVE ALBUM FROM THE DEAD SOUTH COMING JANUARY 29, 2021
Our first release of 2021 is The Dead South's Served Live, their first double live album, a true rite of passage for any band. Remember the olden days when The Dead South could actually serve us live? That seems like so long ago that it could have been when The Dead South’s old timey outfits were still the current fashion of the day! Served Live will be out later this month, but you can shop new t-shirts and pre-orders HERE.
Recorded during the Served Cold World Tour, which traveled the USA, UK and Ireland before the pandemic pressed pause on all the things we love, Served Live is a full concert set list recorded at iconic and beloved venues, from London’s Brixton Academy and Denver’s Mission Ballroom to The Belasco Theatre in LA. Featuring new material from the JUNO Award winning album Sugar & Joy, alongside the band’s top charting, global viral mega hits from previous records, Served Live puts you in the front row (assuming you sit closer to the speakers than your pets do) in your own home, where we hope you’ll stay safe.
With Served Live, The Dead South celebrate the hard-working, music-loving people who make tours happen, from venue owners to agents to promoters. It’s been a pretty rough year for the live music industry, so every boot stomp and finger snap and banjo twiddle means a lot!
Served Live will be released January 29, 2021 via Six Shooter Records.
