Like an ice cube melting in a glass of lemonade, “Keep Me Free” is a recipe for summertime gladness.

Fresh and unruffled, the song is the work of Peter Dreams, the all brand new solo project of Peter Dreimanis (July Talk), featuring fellow new arrivals MOONRIIVR. 

A little bit Talking Heads with a dose of John Cale in its compressed beats, keys and staccato lyrics, “Keep Me Free” cruises along true to its title in mood and meaning.

Dreimanis was recently cast in his first film role, a ‘supernatural thriller’ directed by Ryan Coogler and starring Michael B. Jordan, Jack O’Connell, Delroy Lindo, Jayme Lawson, Omar Benson Miller, Wunmi Mosaku, Hailee Steinfeld, Lola Kirke and more. The film is currently in production with reports of a March 2025 release date.
