ACID RAIN AND SUGAR CANE: AUSTRALIA’S WAGONS HAS A NEW ALBUM COMING ON SIX SHOOTER RECORDS AND A CANADIAN SUMMER TOUR.
Melodrama, menace and mirth: the sixth Wagons album, Acid Rain and Sugar Cane, is a vision of 1970s Vegas glam and gloom as seen through a Campari soaked lens. With equal parts lounge and lizard, frontman Henry Wagons leads his band through a multitude of genres, from classic rock to bad boy boogie, gangsta country and prog rock, often in the same song.
Henry Wagons’ Expecting Company?
Open the door to Henry Wagons’ first solo album and who knows what awaits you. Expecting Company? is a microcosmic look at the human condition shaped as a series of duets on familiar themes: desire, death and pestilence. As frontman extraordinaire to Six Shooter Records’ Aussie imports Wagons, Henry Wagons brings the same swagger, panache, and Elvis-sized charisma to Expecting Company?
SIX SHOOTER AT THE AMAs
We’ll be in Nashville, too, toasting the new Deep Dark Woods‘ release with tequila shots all over town (I’m actually going to be drinking corn syrup from a tequila bottle, ‘cause I’m a lightweight but I still want to paaaartaaay).
WAGONS ROLL INTO CANADA
Melbourne’s Wagons rumble, shake and tumble into Canada with the Canadian debut of their new album, Rumble, Shake and Tumble, out now on Six Shooter Records!
WAGONS SET TO RELEASE RUMBLE, SHAKE AND TUMBLE
The title Rumble, Shake and Tumble effectively captures Wagons‘ rowdy roots-rock style, a Red, White and Blue palette of rock ‘n’ roll, country, cabaret, psychedelia and soul. That’s the Australian Red, White, and Blue of course!
SIX SHOOTER SIGNS WAGONS
More hot fun for Six Shooter Records this summertime, with new additions to the roster from here, there and even other hemispheres. Rolling in from Melbourne, Australia is Wagons, a band with a wild-eyed, audience-taunting frontman (ie. a regular Australian), Henry Wagons, and an instrument-swapping set of musicians who keep the shows just on this side of sanity.
