SAM OUTLAW DEBUTS HONKY TONK LOVE SONG "ALL MY LIFE" VIA WIDE OPEN COUNTRY.
Outlaw says “All My Life” is one of his favorite songs to play live. “I don’t have a lot of “happy” songs but this is certainly a feel-good tune and it’s all kinds of fun to play live. It’s an upbeat singalong with a nice instrumental section so the lead players can strut their stuff. In this case, it’s Stephen Musselman from Los Angeles on the Telecaster and Mark Sloan (based in Nashville) on the pedal steel.
'"A Wild West vixen blazes a trail of theft and seduction in Sam Outlaw's new video for "Trouble."' - Rolling Stone
“Sam Outlaw sounds almost happy to know he’s possibly being deceived on “Say It to Me,” a breezy number from the Los Angeles-based performer’s latest album Tenderheart. “I don’t think it’s true but it sounds like you believe it / I like the way you say it to me,” he sings, assuming a fair amount of risk over a relationship that sounds like someone’s imagination running wild after one polite conversation.” – Rolling Stone

SAM OUTLAW SHARES NEW SONG "BOTTOMLESS MIMOSAS" VIA BROOKLYN VEGAN.
“It’s a nice dose of rich-sounding, rollicking country music — not too far removed from recent breakout Margo Price, who Sam toured with last year. Sam tells us, “The song is a nod to Los Angeles ‘brunch culture.’ Everyone wanders in hung over and guilty. Faces in phones, thinking about the mistakes they made the night before. Or not thinking about them.”’ – Brooklyn Vegan

"SAM OUTLAW'S TENDERHEART PROVES HE'S JUST THAT" - THE FADER
“In the lead track from his sophomore album, Tenderhearted, Sam Outlaw proves he’s precisely that: a sweetie, albeit one with a tough-guy name. That’s not to say the Outlaw appellation isn’t earned — it’s Sam’s mother’s maiden name, and there’s surely an independent streak to his career, which started at the late-breaking age of 31 with the release of his 2015 debut, Angeleno.” – FADER
SAM OUTLAW ANNOUNCES TENDERHEART, NEW ALBUM COMING APRIL 14, 2017.
Sophomore album filters neo-traditional influence through Outlaw’s ‘SoCAL Country’ lens. Expansive North American tour includes stops in Toronto and Vancouver. Cynicism comes easy, but having a soft heart takes real guts. With his new album, Tenderheart, Sam Outlaw dares to tread gently, and looks inward with unapologetic sentiment and un-ironic nods to the genre’s greatest neon rainbow chasers.
