SIX SHOOTER RECORDS AND INTERSTELLAR RODEO WELCOME VANESSA KUZINA AS COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT MANAGER IN WINNIPEG.

Interstellar Rodeo Winnipeg is thrilled to announce that Vanessa Kuzina has joined the team as Community Development Manager. Kuzina will be Six Shooter and Interstellar Rodeo’s woman on the ground in Manitoba, taking the reins on local partnerships, volunteer coordination and outreach initiatives.

“The depth of awesomeness in the Winnipeg arts scene is something to behold,” says Rodeo Boss Shauna de Cartier. “We have such an amazing team of people working to make Interstellar Rodeo great, and Vanessa has been a shining star in our constellation. I couldn’t be more thrilled to have Vanessa bring her incredible energy and heart to the festival in a bigger way as she works to deepen our ties within the Winnipeg community.”

Kuzina has acted as Interstellar Rodeo’s Volunteer Services Coordinator since the festival launched in 2015. In addition to her experience as a musician (a member of the award-winning band Oh My Darling), Kuzina brings extensive non-profit and neighbourhood activism experience to Interstellar Rodeo’s team. Safety, diversity and sustainability have been Kuzina’s driving principles throughout her career, and her integrity, enthusiasm and creativity are welcomed with enthusiasm.

“Working for Interstellar Rodeo as Volunteer Services Coordinator for the past two summers has been a thrilling adventure,” says Kuzina. “I’m inspired by the awesome experience and culture that has been created and I am thrilled to be a part of Interstellar Rodeo as it grows. It is a fantastic event and atmosphere to be take in, I am absolutely delighted to come aboard the Interstellar Rodeo team as Community Development Manager for Winnipeg.”
