POP, POMP AND POETRY: INTERSTELLAR RODEO WINNIPEG ROLLS OUT INTERLUDE PERFORMERS.

Interstellar Rodeo Winnipeg adds to the splashy, flashy, straight-up thriller of a lineup with the announcement of this year’s Interlude performers. This year’s artists further expand the festival’s wide-ranging, genre-flaunting sound and style, with Toronto spoken-word phenom Mustafa The Poet, avant-rocker Ford Pier, celebrated storyteller Oh Susanna and recent Polaris Music Prize nominees Figure Walking. Interstellar Rodeo shines the light on Canada’s auspicious musical future with Faouzia, a magnetic Moroccan/Manitoban vocal powerhouse, and the nuanced, melodic songwriting of Chloe Doucet from Toronto. Piano-glam mystery man Ensign Broderick rounds out this year’s Interlude performers.
