INTERSTELLAR RODEO EXTREME WEATHER UPDATE!

FRIDAY’S PERFORMANCE POSTPONED TO MONDAY.
SATURDAY AND SUNDAY FESTIVAL DAYS ARE GOING FORWARD AS PLANNED!

Today’s extreme weather may have thrown a wrench into our opening night plans, but the show (and festival) does go on, if only a few days later. Friday night’s Corb Lund performance moves to MONDAY, JULY 28. Saturday and Sunday festival days will proceed as planned.

We have just made the call to cancel TONIGHT ONLY due to safety concerns for our performers, volunteers, and audience. “Edmontonians are hearty, and not afraid of a little rain,” said producer Shauna de Cartier, “but the high winds and rain make for unsafe conditions and we decided to work on a Plan B.”

And what a Plan B is it! Corb Lund and the Hurtin’ Albertans, scheduled to perform tonight for their hometown crowd, were disappointed when they heard about the cancellation. Undaunted, they figuratively turned the plane around, and will be back from Montana for a very special Interstellar Extension on Monday, July 28.

We have jumped on the phones and confirmed city permits, lighting companies, food trucks, sound companies, and volunteers to extend their stay and hold a full-blown, Interstellar-worthy make-up concert on Monday evening.

Friday tickets will be honoured for Monday’s performance. Single tickets will be available for purchase through www.SixShooterRecords.com. Details regarding refunds will be available on the website. Please stay tuned.

It will Just Be Awesome.
