Responsibilities will be as follows:
– Provide assistance to the VP Marketing
– Schedule, attend, and take notes at all marketing meetings
– Act as a stopgap at meetings when VP Marketing is unable to attend
– Be the central communication hub for the department (internally & externally)
– Manage and communicate with international promo teams
– Project Management: follow up with team members to ensure tasks are completed
– Assemble marketing plans
– Take responsibility for all marketing grants
– Track budgets
– Research, build and maintain key marketing databases
– Customize targets for each release
– Write (or hire writers) for all company communications (Horizon Line, Top Ten, Newsletters, etc.); schedule and send
– Provide support to the entire department when needed
– Other duties as required

– Experience in the Canadian music industry for 2+ years
– Self-starter who brings a diverse perspective, with exceptional attention to detail, solid time management skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize, while staying ahead of deadlines in a fast-moving environment
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
– Excellent interpersonal skills
– Proficiency with top social media platforms (e.g Vegas Pro. Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, etc.)
– Proficiency in MS Office, Google Suite, Dropbox and Slack
– Experience with online newsletter logistics and distribution

Job Specs:
Position: Marketing Department Coordinator

Hours: Monday-Friday 10:00AM – 6:00PM
Location: Temporarily remote, due to COVID-19. Toronto, ON post-COVID.
Compensation: Salary range from 40K-50K to be determined commensurate with experience, and health benefits.
