Whitehorse's "Leave No Bridge Unburned" Gets On The Polaris Prize Long List.

Congratulations to Whitehorse. Their latest record, Leave No Bridge Unburned, has been selected for the Polaris Prize Long List. This award “honours, celebrates and rewards creativity and diversity in Canadian recorded music by recognizing, then marketing the albums of the highest artistic integrity, without regard to musical genre, professional affiliation, or sales history, as judged by a panel of selected music critics” (Polaris Prize.com). The long list starts with 40 of Canada’s best albums then the 10 album short list gets announce on July 16. The winner will announced at the Polaris gala in September. Read all about Polaris here.
