Six Shooter Records embraces its 20th anniversary, two decades of guts and grit, vision and action, as an opportunity to celebrate the past and contribute to the future. With a full slate of programming, events and news rolling out in the coming months, the 20th anniversary events reflect a label that has followed its heart, embraced challenges and propelled change to become a leader in the independent music scene.
THE DEEP DARK WOODS & WHITEHORSE MAKE THEIR WAY TO THE FOREST CITY FOR 2019 JUNO AWARDS.
Whitehorse's debut holiday record, A Whitehorse Winter Classic, has been nominated for the Adult Alternative Album of The Year at this year's Juno awards while The Deep Dark Woods' haunting album, Yarrow, is in the running for the Contemporary Roots Album of The Year. This year's Juno Awards will take place at London, ON's Budweiser Gardens on March 17.
OUTLAWS & GUNSLINGERS RETURNS TO JUNOFEST IN VANCOUVER.
We really know how to JUNO right, if we do say so ourselves, so come party with us. We’re especially pumped to be heading to lovely Vancouver, BC for JUNO weekend because we are once again co-presenting the annual banger, Outlaws & Gunslingers, with our cohorts at Starfish Entertainment.

Major congrats to Whitehorse, Amelia Curran, and Tanya Tagaq for today’s Juno nominations. This year’s Juno Awards will be held in Vancouver, BC on Sunday, March 25 at the Rogers Arena.
THE JUNO NOMINATIONS ARE IN! THE STRUMBELLAS AND WHITEHORSE TO APPEAR AT THIS YEAR'S JUNO CELEBRATION IN OTTAWA.
The Strumbellas take home three Juno 2017 nominations today with Group of The Year, Song of The Year (Spirits), and Juno Fan Choice Award. The band will also be performing at the live televised broadcast on Sunday, April 2 on CTV.

This year’s Juno Awards nominations include: Tanya Tagaq for Aboriginal Album of The Year & Alternative Album of The Year, Amelia Curran for Roots & Traditional Album of The Year (Solo), The Deep Dark Woods for Roots & Traditional Album of The Year (Group), and Jesse Zubot for Producer of The Year (Animism). The Juno Awards will be taking place in Hamilton, Ontario at the FirstOntario Centre on Sunday, March 15, 2015.

In more exciting news, we are currently running victory laps around our office in celebration of Six Shooter earning two Juno Award nominations this year: one for Amelia Curran‘s “Spectators” in the category of Roots and Traditional (solo) Album of the Year, and the other for Danny Michel‘s “Black Birds are Dancing Over Me” in the category of World Music Album of the Year.
JUNOFEST MADNESS
Along with our pals at Starfish Entertainment, we are super stoked to be presenting an Outlaws & Gunslingers event at Junofest.

Jenn is confirmed for a CMW appearance at Toronto’s Mod Club on Thursday, March 22 with Young Rival and Mise En Scene (9pm). The show will be full band and will include new material from an album scheduled for release in Summer 2012.

There’s no better party in Canada than Junoweek, so we’re sharpening our partying skills in preparation for all the fantastic times ahead in Ottawa this year. We’ve even built a replica Gatineau River in the alley behind our office. We are super stoked about our three Juno Award nominations this year.
