Hawksley Workman’s Winter Bird Tour kicks off in St. John’s today and wraps nearly two months from now in Whitby, with stops in cities big and small across Canada. The Winter Bird Tour is the official Old Cheetah album release jaunt, and Hawksley will present new material with a backing band that his fans know well, including the one and only Mr. Lonely.

Old Cheetah, Hawksley Workman’s 15th album, put its prints in the wet cement in June. The album is another notch in the long career of a creatively restless mind; it marks the time and mood of its maker as much as of its making.
