Thomason continues the theme of musical contributions to noteworthy projects in film, book and television with the original score for “Translations,” in collaboration with Tenderness producer Joel Waddell. “Translations,” also released today, is a documentary series directed by Shelley Thompson (Thomason’s mother) explores personal and profound conversations between trans individuals and those who’ve seen them through their transitions.
